Abstract
Welcome to the inaugural issue of TVET.Asia Magazine — a dedicated publication for professionals, policymakers, educators, and stakeholders across the Technical and Vocational Education and Training landscape in Asia. This magazine was born from a simple but powerful conviction: that skills development is the cornerstone of Asia's future prosperity. Asia is home to more than 60% of the world's youth population. By 2030, over 400 million young Asians will enter the labour market. The challenge — and the opportunity — is staggering. TVET systems across the continent must adapt rapidly to Industry 4.0, the green economy, and a digitalised world, while addressing persistent issues of quality, equity, and public perception.
